Once again I am reminded of the same lesson I learned from an Old Soldier....Officers just imagine they run things. SgtMajor Pendry dead on the money in his comments and observations.

We finally have a genuine leader as POTUS....and he has made unpopular but necessary decisions regarding the security of this country during dangerous times.

The Bush Haters and Left Wing Radical elements of the Democratic Party have put their own selfish political agendas ahead of the National Interests. The one major failure of the Bush Administration in my mind is the failure to properly mobilize the nation for this war.

We need to set the Nation on a War footing, mobilze the reserves and national guard, renew the draft, enlarge our force structure and enlist the national will such as we did during WWII.

We are under attack by hostile forces and we need to take the war to them on their turf, without quarter, mercy, or limit. This renewed effort should not be a military only effort but rather a political, diplomatic, economic, legal, criminal justice, and military effort coordinated to eliminate waste, delay, and duplication of effort.

I salute the war fighters of today and wish them a speedy return to their families after the successful conclusion of the campaign they are involved in, where ever it might be.

We here at home must stand up for them.....just as they are standing up for us!

FIRST, you need to enlarge the FONT size on the entire website. The only way I could read this stuff was to copy/paste it to \"WORD\", then enlarge it.

I recently read your thing that starts w. \"Jimmy Carter, your are the...\". I agree 100%, but I would have included that Commie Rag, the Washington Post.

The problem is: You (and most of us) are preaching to the choir. We have GOT to find a way to get this kind of message to MIDDLE OF THE ROAD America. The hard corps liberal idiots are going to stop reading an article like that at the first sentence. They are incorrigible and beyond saving. When you tell it to people like me, we believe it simple because we already know it’s true.

When we figure out how to reach and CONVINCE the undecided, there may yet be hope. Unfortunately, the undecided are that way because they are incapable of research & retention of the FACTS.

First Sergeant Major Pendry, let me thank you for your service to my country.

You write the way that I believe and you pull no punches, this, I like about the way that you tell it.

In closing, I will say your would have made one damn good Marine. Ooh Rah.
