If he does I would suggest that ALL veterans turn their backs to him. Us civilians should keep watch....For ya'll I am not one for turning my back on an enemy so I know the Veterans aren't. But it would be a symbolic gesture. IMO. BTW, I found something you wrote in a forum I belong to and I posted it at my site. For some reason I didn't realize you had a blog, anyway I corrected the error and put a link on top to you. See ya in D.C. I’ve taken heat for declaring that ABSCAM Jack wouldn’t amount to a pimple on a real Marines butt. According to some, since I’m a retired Army type and not a war hero, I’m not qualified to speak about the type of Marine Jack Murtha is or was. Fair enough.

I may not be a Marine, nor a veteran, but I am an American so I DO feel qualified to say this: “Jack Murtha wouldn’t amount to a pimple on a real American’s butt.”

Personally, I have told off many a supporter of both when they say no one has a right to bash Veterans, then they launch into a litany of bashing guys like the Swift Vets, each a combat sailor who served full tours and came home to the same disdain we did. Murtha and his ilk, while maybe Veterans, have lost their way as they seek to undermine our brave troops fighting for our and the Iraqi's freedom. What price we all pay for their political power!
