After a friendly visit to our congresscritters offices in Charleston on the 10th I’ll be headed over to DC to have some fun.

This I can relate to, Sgt Major. All 3 of my representatives are Democrats. Brain Baird from the House and Patty Murray in the Senate nearly always reply, most of the time with some sort of condescending form letter in my email letting me, the Viet Nam Veteran, know what is wrong with war and why I should oppose it like them. That doesn’t stop me from opposing their points and my contacting them continues, urging them to get behind our Troops and win this fight.

My other Senator, Maria Cantwell, has never responded to me once, not in any manner.

Being the ornery aging Vet I am, I keep it up and they can count on opposition from me and my urging everyone to vote for someone else.

Most bothersome to me is the universal call from the Democrat party to “end the war,’ and not one call to “win the war.”
