[...] J D Pendry has a great column on mutha and the Politboro er I mean SCOTUS decision in Boumediene v Bush. It really added insult to injury for me with the latest Supreme Court, or is it now the Politburo, atrocity committed against the United States of America. When we capture bin Laden now, according to the decision, we will have to bring him here and give him the rights afforded any United States citizen under the Constitution. When a collection of people with lifetime appointments have suicidal ideations for our country, then the treatment that our Service men and women receive from politicians and the press should not be too shocking. It does not matter who is in the Whitehouse because the Supreme Politburo of the United States has usurped his or her constitutional authority as Commander in Chief. Every enemy prisoner of war taken on any battlefield now has rights under the Constitution of the United States. [...]

I saw an article \"Axis of Idiots\" that said you were a retired Marine SgtMaj.
You retired fom the Army. So what! You wore a military uniform, proudly, I assume. I am a retired Marine MSgt and you were right on track with your description of murtha. (Notice that I didn\'t capitalize his name.) He doesn\'t deserve it. They say, \"Once a Marine always a Marine,\" and that there is no such thing as an ex-Marine. murtha is an exception to that expression. I loved \"Axis of Idiots.\" Semper Fi Soldier!

Never claimed to be a Marine, although I take it as a compliment, must have been of my unauthorized Internet editors - JD

Murtha is running this year and he has a real competitor.

I've still got my Boot Murtha signs from '06 so I reckon a road trip or two is in order.

We need to do something serious about the US Supreme court. It may take amending the Constitution to define areas where the court has no power, and the areas where it does have power. They definitely overstepped their power under our constitution in usurping the power of the other two branches in this case.

We need to revisit life appointments. Retire them at 65 and let them draw their Govt. pension.
